As a Strategic Advisor for Franklin Apprenticeships, Lisa Patterson brings her extensive experience as a senior executive in the financial services industry to the growing tech apprenticeship company. Lisa was previously one of Franklin’s clients, playing an instrumental role in introducing cybersecurity and software engineering apprenticeship programs to Aegon, a multi-billion-dollar international financial services group.
Lisa retired in late 2022 from Aegon, where she most recently served as Vice President of Financial Institutions after holding a variety of senior roles over a period of 25+ years at the company. She was responsible for strengthening relationships with financial institutions and expanding product distribution through major banking and asset management partners. She has previously worked in management and marketing and brings extensive experience building lasting and meaningful relationships in the international finance and insurance sector.

Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Bellarmine University. She currently lives in Louisville, KY, and in addition to Board Advisory work and volunteering at local education-focused charities, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
