If you meet all eligibility requirements, as described above, a Franklin Career Agent will review your application. If our Career Agent determines that there is a potential fit, you will be contacted by email to schedule a brief introductory interview.
Note: Please reply promptly to the meeting request.
During your phone meeting, a Franklin Career Agent will gathermore details about your background and interests and answer some general questions about the program. If you and your Franklin Career Agent determine mutual interest, you will be invited to an in-depth video interview.
During your video interview, your Agent will help prepare you for the next steps and will provide tips and training for employer interviews. Once you have completed your video interview your Career Agent can begin sharing your resume with potential employers.
Note: This step is not the employer interview.
Note: Be patient! Please keep in mind, this process can take some time. You can expect regular updates from your Franklin Career Agent during the waiting period.
Note: Hiring decisions are made by the employer — not your Franklin Career Agent. Your Franklin Career Agent will help prepare you for the interview, but ultimately it is up to you to ace the interview and win the job!
Your Franklin Career Agent will contact you once an employer has shown interest in your resume and is ready to meet with you.It is very important that you respond quickly, and remain flexibleto the suggested times offered.
Note: Hiring decisions are made by the employer — not your Franklin Career Agent, or Job Center. Even though you may “qualify” for the program as a dislocated worker,it is up to you to ace the interview, and win the job
