Franklin Apprenticeships is proud to support a partnership between industry leaders FANUC America and Rockwell Automation, designed to provide apprenticeships to lower the barrier to entry for candidates interested in Robotics, Automation and Advanced Manufacturing careers. By providing manufacturers with apprenticeships and credentialing programs, including fundamental robotics (Robot Operator) and automation (PLC Operator), this partnership is helping workers to obtain industry relevant credentials while helping employers to eliminate critical skills gaps.
In addition to FANUC America, Rockwell and Franklin Apprenticeships, the coalition includes APT, a FANUC and Rockwell Automation systems integrator, and NOCTI Business Solutions, which provides independent assessments of occupational standards and validation using recognized International Organization for Standardization (ISO) process validation methods. The coalition has developed new apprenticeship programs offering people opportunities to gain credentials that include fundamental robotics (Robot Operator) and automation (PLC Operator).
These apprenticeships span current and emerging occupations in advanced manufacturing, including automation and robotics, preparing individuals for a long-term career in these industries. The program offers a second level of credentials for Robot and PLC Technicians. A third credentialing level called Integration Specialist builds on the fundamental and technical skills that teaches people to operate and troubleshoot integrated FANUC-Rockwell Automation technologies.
You don’t need to wait for new college grads to finish their degrees, and then complete training before they’re ready to get to work. You can hire an apprentice this fall who is capable and ready to work from their first day, and fully trained in just one year. Our team of apprenticeship experts will help you every step of the way.
